The problem with a film like 'Eagle Eye' is that it is wholly ridiculous. There are so many contrivances, unbelievable coincidences and credibility gaps that this is cinematic Swiss cheese. Having seen 'Eagle Eye' once in the theater and now again on home video, I can also safely say that the film does not hold up to scrutiny, and going back over it only reveals its narrative gaps … The film is well played, with a paranoid, 1970s sensibility, and this, along with moments of heart-pounding suspense and impressive stunt work, makes it a stylish and often awe-inspiring thrill

Eagle Eye is a good thriller movie. The acting is superb. In particular I found Shia LaBeouf very believable in the main role as Jerry Shaw; and Michelle Monoghan was equally well casted as Rachel Holloman.
